In this section the first part : 1)" Prints" shows prints of my paintings.These are available in various sizes on good quality paper The second part : 2) " Album"  shows the original paintings, which have been painted in oil or acrylic on canvas or watercolour on art paper.   • Carrickfergus Castle ( present day)

    This is a print of the original painting of the ancient Norman castle in Carrickfergus, the ancient capitol of N. Ireland.The castle was built in John de Courcy, who lived there with Afrecca his wife , a princess of the Isle of Man.

  • The Black Hole

    The black Hole is a well known Land mark near Larne in Co.Antrim. Here it is in print and postcard form taken from one of my range of N. Irish miniatures. In this painting it is as it was in olden days.

  • The Black Hole from Belfast Lough

    This print is from a miniature painting, (now sold , but the painting can be recreated) of the Black Hole seen from a ship in the Belfast Lough. Prints and postcards are available.

  • I will build my Castle here

    This print was taken from a large painting of John de Courcy ( the Norman Knight who built the castle) as he stands on the large rock jutting out into the sea in Belfast Lough, deciding to make this spot his home from where he could control all of the maritime traffic coming up the Lough. The painting is in oils on canvas. Postcards are also available.

  • The Mariner’s Tale

    This is from an oil painting inspired by a very old etching of the castle. The figures and mist were added to make it look as though it is shrouded in mystery and make it appear like a fairy tale castle. The sky is deliberately dull except for the contrasting sunlight which is hitting the water and parts of the castle. There are postcards and prints available of the painting.
